Sunny and hot summer in Eyrarbakki and unusually dry.

Big freeze

The time is cool and quiet. The sea to the beach wants to freeze. Mr. North wind determines state. On the north country is warned avalanches. They are dangerous if they fall on communities. U.S. state snows of telling news. Brisbane Australia sinks into the water. North Asia as white ice. So is the weather.

Somebody dreams about the sun and paradise and painted a beautiful dream into the house.

Winter approaching in the northern

Day by day the sun go lowers in the sky here in the Northern. Winter is near, and after a few days can go to snow. It's getting cold weather and the first frost is expected tonight. Thanks to the Gulf Stream, the sea will not freeze on our coast.

Warm autumn

Unusually warm weather makes that nature has totally confused. Instead of flowers go to winter sleep, they are starting to bloom as the spring. Usually it's winter for us with frost and snow at this time, but now is the weather like in spring, and when the flowers do not complain, why should we then complaining about global warming?

The question is, why no winter?

Most days in January have been warm and the weather has been our good. The greatest temperature in January was 9 ° C and it has not happened in the village before in January. At the time, it is normally winter with Frosty and snow, but not now. Just only like springtime with sunshine. But we must not complain of good weather, but just be grateful and hope that February will be just too good. Probably the weather gods are our best friends these days.

Our flowers

Beach heritage grows much of Eyrarbakki coast and gives a good smell. The beach is very popular among tourists and local people for walking trips.

It is fun to walk and listen to the surf play their music and a bird singing in tune.

The country has the right name today, the sea has frozen, but it does not happen often. The ice is thin and even dangerous to walk on. But it is however not a problem for one dog.

This science say the global will warming op. The great Icelandic diamonds glacier will melt down.

Can we stop this situation? We can already identify the impact of climate warming. The summer will be more dry and hot. The winter will be wet with strong rain, the sea returns from summer heat and winter will mild. The question is what effect it has on animals and vegetation.
